Tyson Mathews: Chief Executive Officer
Tyson Mathews developed leadership qualities at an early age as the oldest of 7 children and in his years of service as a United States Marine. Tyson obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, emphasis in Finance, from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Mathews has a natural talent of engaging, communicating, motivating, and leading people. He has held management positions since he was 19 years old, aspiring to one day own his own company. Today, Tyson owns several businesses and partnerships in multiple industries. His focus has always been to build a network and infrastructure of professionals that can execute high valued operations for his companies and his investors. Tyson’s mission is to create opportunities for both private and industry partners to generate long term residual income, grow a multi-faceted business, develop legacy assets, and provide generational wealth to everyone involved. Mathews not only has a complete understanding of what it takes to advance J.T. River's agenda, but has proven to have the skills to bring our company to further success.
Scott Bean: Chief Operations Officer
Scott Bean brings more than 15 years of real estate experience to our network. Mr. Bean has been instrumental in setting the foundation for J.T. Rivers Real Estate. He has successfully been purchasing and managing residential real estate on a personal level in several markets, including Illinois, Texas, Utah, and Florida. His experience has helped us build this multi- faceted business that provides real estate investment opportunities to both development and rental investors.
Before his career in real estate, Scott started out in the aerospace industry, managing the sales and business development of a company that went from $20 million to $100 million dollars before its successful acquisition in 2005. Scott’s management is important as he is vital to our operations team. He helps with field communication, project management, investor relations, accounting, and rental tenant management. Scott is also a contributing member for BiggerPockets, the nation’s leading real estate educational forum. His passion for real estate is what makes him a great addition to our team.
Lead Contractors and Consultants
Ralph Andrus- Executive Contractor
Ralph Andrus has over 40 years of construction and management experience. As a General Contractor he developed raw land into turn key products. He has been a construction manager for high end custom homes and has been in responsible for residential projects of over $30,000,000. He has a CDL and can operate most heavy equipment. He has worked with government agencies such as HUD and the Corp of Engineers. He has extensive experience and skills in off-site improvements including engineering, plans, and profiles. For years he has worked on multifamily, condos and dormitories bringing them in on time and under budget. Between Ralph and his wife, they have built over 1,200 homes. His greatest joy is flying his airplane.
Ryan Tidwell- Project Management Director
Ryan Tidwell began his passion for construction and real estate as a young boy watching his grandfather, a general contractor, remodel and build homes. Today, Ryan has more than 10 years construction experience, 6 years general management experience, and 5 years experience in project management and business ownership. Ryan is proficient in all aspects of construction, some of which include: framing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sheet rock, painting, finish carpentry, interior design, roofing, and landscaping. He is also knowledgeable in bid procedures, estimation, and is compliant with safety requirements, and building codes. Adept at directing multiple projects simultaneously he consistently completes projects on time and within budget. His ability to negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients ensures competitive pricing on materials and labor. Ryan knows all aspects of the process beginning at the steps of the courthouse, through demolition and renovation and on to the sale of the property. Ryan what it takes to flip a property.
Brandon Tidwell- Project Manager
Brandon Tidwell is a new addition to the team. While his background is not solely construction oriented he is a well rounded problem solver. Having worked in various types of mechanical professions there is little that he and his team can't figure out. Brandon is proficient in most aspects of construction, including: siding, framing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint prep/painting, finish carpentry, and landscaping. Throughout his life he has learned the value of hard work and doing things the right way. To Brandon there is nothing more exciting than watching a house come together and to have produced a final product that he is proud to put his and the company's name on.
